Making Disciples - CLE 2371

This 10-week course explores the process of spiritual development as well as methods of discipleship practice in the church. Students will examine the biblical backgrounds of discipleship and the role of spiritual disciplines, community, development of spiritual gifts, and accountability in spiritual growth. Learn How to Disciple

  Learn How To "Make-Disciple" This 10-week workshop training will teach you how to make disciples of non-Christians and disciple an already Christian.   The training is based on two discipleship books:   Discipleship Uncomplicated by Dr. Warren Haynes of Gateway Seminary and Real-Life Discipleship by Jim Putman.  All sessions will be held online and in-person and will be led by Pastor Bong Abagon.  Pastor Bong had led evangelism and discipleship training during his years at the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention and now is a pastor, ministry consultant, and partner-teacher with Oahu Bible Institute (OBI).  Dr. Alan Tamashiro, from the Big Island Baptist Association, will assist in the class.    Interested participants can apply this as a credit course to OBI or any of Gateway's Seminary courses and will need to make an arrangement with Linda Taylor, OBI Administrator.     June 3 - August 5, Every Thursdays, 6-9pm Online via Zoom; In-Person at Waipahu Community Christian C
